Garry

Chief Operating Officer

Driven to leave a lasting mark on New Zealand's marine industry, Garry has never been confined by his initial role as a Vessel Designer. He frequently steps beyond his scope to create meaningful outcomes for those around him. With a pragmatic approach, Garry keeps Vessev on the most direct path to success. This mindset has seen him grow from Vessel Designer to Head of Design, and now, Chief Operating Officer.

Sophie

Chief of Staff

Sophie has many multifaceted experiences across multiple startups - but none in marine. This did not stop her from joining Vessev, however, as she was drawn to Vessev’s culture; a rare blend of precision and creativity. As Vessev’s Chief of Staff, Sophie leverages her broad career journey to tackle the company’s need of the moment, whether that’s productising hiring or corralling legal contracts, all with one goal: clearing the path for progress.
